Huaidian Daniel Hou

I'm Huaidian Hou (侯怀典), currently Member of Technical Staff at a stealth robotics startup. Before this summer I was an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan majoring in Computer Science. Self-identified as a passionate roboticist and creative artist, I focus on sculpting intelligent understanding and manipulation capabilities for the benefit of our communities. My recent work spans efficient VLA post-training, model capability adaptations, and efficient sim2real for challenging robot manipulation.

I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Dmitry Berenson and Prof. Shai Revzen during my undergraduate at the University of Michigan. Their guidance was instrumental in shaping my research interests and career aspirations.
