Huaidian Daniel Hou

I'm Huaidian Hou (侯怀典), currently Member of Technical Staff at ANNGINE, a stealth robotics startup. I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science at the University of Michigan. As a robotics engineer (and part-time artist), I focus on sculpting intelligent understanding and manipulation capabilities for the benefit of our communities. My recent work spans VLA online RL, model capability adaptations, and efficient sim2real for challenging robot manipulation.

I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Dmitry Berenson and Prof. Shai Revzen during my undergraduate at the University of Michigan. Their guidance was instrumental in shaping my research interests and career aspirations.
